Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transport raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Supply production lines with materials according to production schedules.
  • Remove finished goods and scrap materials from production areas.
  • Perform inventory transactions using ERP, warehouse management systems, or handheld scanners.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assists with physical inventories.
  • Verify material qualities and part numbers against work orders and shipping documents.
  • Maintain organized storage locations and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory paractices.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping reuirements.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and safety concerns to supervision.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control processes.
  • Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventroy records.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift push pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safetly.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust and machinery.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing and warehouse setting.
  • May require overtime, weekend work, or shift work based on production demands.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PEE) required in designated areas.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency within the manufacturing facility.
