Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process outgoing shipments according to company procedures.
  • Verify order accuracy by checking quantities, item numbers, and shipping information.
  • Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate with carriers and transportation providers for pickups and deliveries.
  • Trak shipments and resolve shipping discrepancies or delays.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
  • Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and barcode scanners.
  • Assist with receiving incoming shipments when needed.
  • Inspect shipments for quality and accuracy before dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or shipping experience.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Forklift certification (if required by employer).
  • Knowledge of shipping carriers and freight procedures.
