Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate assigned operations
- Supervise, train, and mentor employees
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and internal quality standards
- Monitor schedules and workflow to meet delivery targets
- Perform and oversee setup, operation, and troubleshooting in assigned area
- Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture
- Review work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- Support audits, inspections, and corrective actions
- Report production metrics and escalate risks or issues as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (technical degree or certification preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
- Previous leadership or lead-level experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of aerospace materials, processes, and tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret processes and procedures
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with CNC machining, composites, or aerospace assembly
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
- Experience supporting AS9100 and ISO audits
