Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma program to drive measurable performance improvements.
- Facilitate CI events and activities that deliver tailored value to customers and positively impact company KPIs.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Act as a change agent, coaching and influencing employees and leadership to adopt CI methodologies and sustain improvement efforts.
- Train employees on Lean tools and methods, including root cause analysis, problem-solving, and waste reduction.
- Analyze cost drivers and propose alternative solutions that reduce expenses while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Support and track CI initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with company strategic objectives.
- Support the implementation of shop floor management strategies, including Visual Management, Cell Design, and Material Flow optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, or quality improvement roles.
- Demonstrated success in diagnosing root causes and driving sustainable performance improvements.
- Strong change management and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels and departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and facilitation experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 Rev D quality standards.
- Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent CI certification.
