Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production and material plans in line with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and production teams to ensure material availability and production readiness.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory analysis to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Generate short- and long-term production schedules, ensuring alignment with capacity and resource availability.
- Analyze production data, lead times, and material usage trends to optimize planning accuracy.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, reorder points) in ERP/MRP systems.
- Identify and escalate potential supply chain risks or constraints proactively.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to align inbound/outbound material flows with production needs.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders to track KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain roles (or entry-level if applicable).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, etc.).
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and production scheduling.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
