Test Engineering Technician

* Prepare, set up, and operate mechanical, electrical, and environmental test systems.
* Execute tests in accordance with defined procedures, engineering instructions, AS9100 requirements, and applicable MIL standards.
* Install, calibrate, and monitor instrumentation including sensors, strain gauges, thermocouples and load cells.
* Operate and maintain data acquisition systems: ensure accuracy of measurements and data integrity.
* Document test results, generate reports and communicate findings to engineering teams.
*Troubleshoot test equipment and setups to resolve technical issues.
* Support development and improvement of test fixtures, processes and documentation.
* Maintain compliance with AS9100 procedures, record keeping and traceability requirements.
* Ensure laboratory safety, organization and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Associate's degree in engineering technology, Electronics or related field. Hands-on experience with instrumentation and measurement systems. Proficiency with common test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, environmental chambers). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and test procedures. Understanding of AS9100 quality system requirements and their application in ta test environment. Familiarity with MIL-SPEC standards relevant to aerospace testing. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate documentation. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
