We are seeking a skilled Plant Electrician to join our team. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, hands-on technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining safe and efficient plant operations. You’ll work independently, as well as mentor and support other technicians, while ensuring compliance with plant safety and policies.

Essential Functions:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and control systems

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints

• Load and modify PLC programs; repair PLC I/O cards

• Communicate with team members and supervisors on project details

• Adhere to plant safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and GMP standards

• Inspect products for natural and processing defects, ensuring product quality and safety

• Report any suspicious or abnormal situations, including equipment malfunctions or potential product issues

• Carry out all other duties as assigned by supervisor

Physical Requirements:

• Stand/walk for the entirety of the shift

• Lift, pull, and carry varying weights depending on the task

• Wear and carry a tool belt weighing 15–45 lbs throughout the workday

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or processing environment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and lead/train others

• Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical control systems

• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
