At Burns Logistics, we coordinate efficient transportation solutions that keep our projects and clients moving forward. We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to support our trucking operations by managing daily routes, driver communications, and load assignments to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Skills

  • Strong communication and coordination abilities
  • Route planning and problem-solving
  • Experience with DumpTruck Dispatch, Tenna or similar fleet management software
  • Attention to detail for monitoring schedules and driver performance
  • Ability to train and guide drivers in company procedures and routes

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily driver and truck schedules in collaboration with the Fleet Manager
  • Accurately input ticket data into dispatching systems to ensure proper financial workflow
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field drivers regarding routes, directions, and load details
  • Monitor dispatch progress throughout the day using DumpTruck Dispatch
  • Track and update the status of dispatches to ensure timely completion and accurate records
  • Work with the Logistics team to ensure fair and consistent environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with DumpTruck Dispatch, Tenna or similar dispatch/fleet tracking tools a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills for driver and manager interactions
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
