The Burns Waste front load driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of front load trucks to transport refuse from job sites and businesses to recycling facilities. This role requires attention to detail, a focus on safety, and excellent customer service skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Report to Burns Waste Dispatcher
• Safely operate front-load and roll-off trucks to deliver and pick up containers from various construction sites.
• Ensure proper loading and securement of containers for safe transport.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring trucks are in good working condition.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Accurately complete and submit load tickets, route logs, and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and clients to coordinate timely service.
• Ensure proper placement of containers at job sites to avoid obstructions or damage.
• Handle minor maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressures, and report any issues to maintenance personnel.
• Keep trucks clean and well-maintained.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients at job sites.
